Hours:

The office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.  The Clinic will close daily from noon to 1:30pm for lunch.  The Clinic is closed all major holidays.

The Clinic is open for evening and Saturday appointments to assist in accommodating difficult schedules.  Please call for details.

Appointments:

All appointments are scheduled in advance.  Your scheduled appointment is set up exclusively for you.  We require a 24 hour cancellation notice, otherwise you will be billed an $85.00 service fee.  This service fee applies to missed appointments as well.  By allowing a 24 hour notice on cancellations we are able to assist other patients in need.

New patients should arrive 30 minutes before the appointment time to allow adequate time to complete self assessment evaluations.  New patient packets need to be completed prior to arrival for your appointment.  In order to verify insurance benefits prior to your scheduled appointment, new patient packets and insurance information should be submitted no later than two days prior to your scheduled appointment.  New patients can expect to meet with Dr. De LLanos, Joselee Sarmiento, NP, Deborah Ellis, NP, and Patricia Soderlund, NP, for 45 to 55 minutes.  New therapy patients can expect to meet with Clinicians for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending upon the Clinicians schedule.

We do not accept walk-in appointments.

Follow-up appointments can expect to meet with Dr. De LLanos, Joselee Sarmieto, NP, Deborah Ellis, NP, and Patricia Soderlund, NP, for 20 to 30 minutes.  Follow-up therapy appointments can expect to meet with Clinicians for 45 to 55 minutes.  Appointments begin at 9:00am and the last follow-up appointment of the day is scheduled at 4:30pm.  There are some evening and Saturday appointments available, please call for more details.  Schedules for therapy appointments vary by Clinician, please contact the office at 951-506-9112 for further information.

Testing appointment timeframes can vary, based on the test(s) being administered, from 30 minutes to 2 hours.  Those patients who are undergoing Attention Testing, please refrain from caffeine for three days prior to testing.  Patients who are currently under treatment for Attention Difficulties and are being re-tested, please take prescribed medication no sooner/later than three (3) to four (4) hours prior to test being administered.

Emergencies:

If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Dr. De LLanos and the Nurse Practitioners do not refill prescriptions or conduct clinical evaluations over the phone during non-business hours.  This policy is for your own protection and allows for the utmost quality in your Psychiatry care.

Medical Records:

Medical records are stored for seven years per legal requirements.  Copies of records will be transferred to other physicians upon receipt of completed Release of Information Form.  There will be a charge duplication of medical records based on the number of pages that need to be copied.  Please provide at least a two (2) week notice for duplication of medical records.

Billing and Insurance:

Payment, co-payment, or deductible payment is due upon arrival and prior to being seen by Dr.
De LLanos or the Clinicians.  The Clinic will no longer bill Out of Network Insurance companies for your appointment.  The Clinic does not bill for Workmen's Compensation Claims and does not handle disability claims.

Please notify the Clinic if there are any changes to your insurance coverage.

Returned Check Fee:

There will be a $25.00 fee charged, in addition to the original amount paid, for each check that is returned unpaid.  Payment of fee and original amount must be by cash, money order, or credit card.

Medication Refills:

Medication refills will be completed during normal business hours only.  Do not call the answering service for prescription refills as they will not be authorized.  This is to conform to the California Pharmacy statues and prevent people from acting or posing as patients.  This also prevents the possibility of people obtaining medications by illegal means.

Patients should contact their pharmacy and request that a prescription refill request be faxed to the Clinic.  Our fax number is 951-506-9113.  This request should be done three (3) working days before the refill is needed.  This allows time to verify the accuracy of the prescription.  This also allows accurate records of medication usage to be maintained in the patient chart for review by the State Pharmacy Board, if necessary.

Due to State Pharmacy Regulations, refills will NOT be authorized to any patient who has not been seen in the Clinic during the prior six months.

Please be aware:

In the event your prescription is lost or stolen, there will be NO early refills on any controlled medications, including, but not limited to, benzodiazipines (i.e. clonazepam, ativan, xanax), stimulants (i.e. adderall xr, concerta, vyvanse), and Suboxone!
